SAN FRANCISCO – October 24, 2016 – Qardio, Inc., the award-winning digital health company, today unveiled a new feature that will open its app for anyone, not only users with a Qardio device, to track their health on their Android device. With the latest app version, anyone can now manually input their weight and blood pressure related data to the Qardio app while using their own health monitor. This new feature will be available today via the QardioArm and QardioBase section of the Android app. To download the Qardio app for Android and start monitoring your health today, please visit: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.getqardio.android&hl=en
Along with this new feature, the Qardio app also allows users to track their history, set reminders for themselves and share their data with friends, family and even doctors to help them maintain their healthy lifestyle. Already consumers are using Qardio devices three times more often than other blood pressure monitors on the market, and this new feature will open the app up for even more growth.
“We wanted to roll out this feature to make Qardio a universal solution for everyone,” says Marco Peluso CEO of Qardio. “With this additional way to create a sophisticated health journal in Qardio app, we can support consumers that are not yet ready to swap their traditional monitors for a smart one but still seek a smart way to monitor their health.”
This revamp of the Qardio Android app is fueled by an effort to continue our mission of offering better health management around the world. Qardio is making digital monitoring and modernized health recording available to everyone.
The Qardio App works with Android 4.4 “KitKat” (or later) and requires access to Google Play. For a list of compatible Android devices, go here.
