THE POWER OF REMOTE PATIENT MONITORING AND EARLY DETECTION
People with underlying health conditions can now have vital signs monitored remotely by QardioMD+VSI, so any deterioration of their condition is detected early. Clinicians at Qardio's remote monitoring centre access the Visensia index and triage patients before they become critically ill. Patients remain at home while they are monitored remotely. Remote engagement increases capacity in the system and reduces the possible spread of infection. They will also benefit from three leads of continuous ECG data provided by the QardioCore device, which can detect and record atrial fibrillation and other arrhythmias remotely.
We are working with OBS Medical’s Visensia Safety Index, a deterioration technology similar to NEWS, used in the US and EU which is FDA and CE cleared. A patient’s status index is automatically generated from just three vitals, and personalised by taking underlying conditions into account.
